Born and raised in Nome, Alaska Löki Gale Tobin is living proof that a life lived with curiosity, and a willingness to accept a gray area, can be fun and impactful.

From a childhood in Nome, to representing Alaskans in the state legislature, she has always gone beyond the limits others have unfairly tried to place on her.

Sharita Napper’s Alaska roots run deep. Her great grandmother was a founding member of the first Black church in Anchorage. Her great uncles were the first two Black students to integrate the Anchorage School District. She comes from a family of community leaders, and entrepreneurs.
